Inspired by the recorded words of legendary sculptor William Edmondson—who believed his artistic gifts were divinely given—this exhibition seeks artists whose creative practice is driven by something beyond technique alone.

Whether understood through faith, ancestry, spirituality, intuition, or an undeniable inner conviction, CALLED asks:

What compels you to create?

This exhibition is not limited to religious imagery or traditional expressions of faith. Rather, it celebrates artists who recognize making as an act of purpose—artists who create because they feel they must.

The exhibition will be presented as part of WE Festival 2026, featuring an interactive exhibition experience that encourages viewers to engage deeply with the artwork while supporting participating artists.
